I found myself leaning closer and closer to the screen as time went on

Art and music and overall presentation was wonderful, lots of really great details, lines that stick with you. Sometimes you have to just let it rain blood every once in a while
This is such a strong start to what I know will be an incredible journey and so I'm really looking forward to it!!

My malevolence, the art in this VN!  I was completely blown away by the sheer number, variety, and quality of the CGs and backgrounds—to say nothing of that wonderful animated sequence!

The story, too, was very well paced, and kept me engaged all the way throughout: I quite enjoyed the colorful cast of characters, and learning more about them through their complicated relationships with the dying world and the dead ringleader, heheheh~

Marvelous work, well and truly~  I'm very curious to see where Hopeless Divine goes from here!

a fine wine expertly crafted, it perfectly captures the transgender feeling of living with this intense hatred in your heart. the intense body horror helps elevate all those awful emotions into something real and palpable, having prior been an abstract feeling unable to be grasped. underneath all the cherry flavor i can sense an aroma of tatsuki fujimoto, especially fire punch. i don't know how intentional that is but that story did change my life so i'm glad to have read the first chapter of something in the same ballpark

Dope game.

The bar feels less like a real place and more like a strange kind of purgatory. A small universe detached from reality.

The mass of people inside is almost a force of nature. It moves and flows, both reacting to the main characters and ignoring them completely. It's chaotic and oppressive, like being carried by the ocean.

It's a narrative that feels hectic, febrile. Hot. It feels hot; you feel the overwhelming heat emanating from the people, the walls, the chaos.

Didn't know a thing going into this one, but having played Absolutely Perfect Specimen and Angel Wings, I knew I'd be in for another unique experience.

The slow build throughout the whole chapter; the boiling pot of emotions stirring within the different characters, before it all boils over at the climax of the chapter, very well executed and well crafted!

This game also handles its characters very well. The MC has her own issues going on, that she's dealing with, but everyone else also feels like they're just trying to get by. With the setting, being about a world basked in war, and everyone trying to find their own comfort in whatever remains are left, you'd also probably share a drink with them too.

Was stunned at the halfway point as well, took me by surprise! (positive) And I implore other readers to check this title out. As the description says, this is only the first chapter, so stay awhile and keep an eye on future installments from Chambersoft; I know I will!

There's a rawness and hurt in this that, coupled with the art style and the extremely sharp writing drives the intended emotions of this VN very well, to the point it almost feels like being stabbed lol, but that's what I signed up for. This is a really, really good submission for a game jam that lasted just over a month, and it makes me very curious to see how it'd continue.

I love this, and if the other comments are anything to go by, your previous game was just as good, so I'll try to check it out too :D

The art in this is so cool! Really caught me off guard partway through. I would have never been able to guess where this went. Loved this and can't wait to see the next chapter!

A fantastic follow-up to last year's brutally earnest and wonderfully explosive VN Absolutely Perfect Specimen, Hopeless Divine: Wake of Vultures offers a different blend of catharsis for its readers in the form of a slowly bubbling narrative laced with an underlying ticking time bomb of hatred and rage that reveals itself more and more despite everyone's attempts to defuse and disarm it. Several moments in this had me wide eyed and speechless with its presentation and story beats that emanate with passion and intense, unrelenting emotion in a world that's actively hostile and uncaring to those who reside in it. Everyone who enjoyed 2023's Absolutely Perfect Specimen owes it to themselves to experience this game, too.

Holy shit, what a VN.

As you are well aware I was already a big fan of your prior work so I was already excited for this story even with the lack of information I had for it and Holy Shit. It's absolutely incredible.

Everything is beautifully dismal, the animated parts blew me away. A splendid first chapter that leaves me eager to see what else will happen. A specific scene left me wide eyed in amazement.
